Think bush safari meets stylish vintage retreat. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, from furniture collected over the years to materials sourced and repurposed from across the Cape. While sticking with the theme of connecting with nature around you, West is completely off-grid, with a rainwater reservoir beneath the house and a solar system powering the entire home.

First Level:
Entering the first level of West welcomes you right into the entertainment area. The large open plan space sweeps right across the floor, offering a stylish living room, dining area, kitchen and wrap around balcony with additional seating, an outdoor kitchenette and a built in braai (BBQ). The separate TV room is the perfect place to escape to after a long day, with cosy couches and beanbag chair. All while boasting 180 degree views of the ocean, village and nature reserve.

Second Level:
This level offers a tucked away seating area, perfect for curling up with a good book, as well as a large wooden desk and seating are for those who have a bit of remote working to do while on holiday. Towards the back of this space, the large doors open onto yet another tucked away courtyard that receives the morning sun. The little mountain stream trickles down the natural moss-covered rocks and wild ferns, creating the most calming environment.

Third Level:
At the very top of West sits the fifth bedroom (and second flatlet). It itself, there are two levels. You enter into a beautifully furnished living area and kitchen with expansive views over the ocean. It has its own fully equipped kitchen, dining area and a cosy lounge with a smart TV. This opens onto a private balcony with sun loungers and built in seating. Just the place you want to spend a quiet moment away from it all, soaking in the rays of the sunsets over the ocean in front of you.

Rates and Seasons:
Peak Season: 14 December – 31 January: R20,000 a night
Summer Season: 1 February – 14 April: R17,000
Low Season 14 April – 14 December: R12,000
3 night minimum stay

Additional Costs:
We charge a post cleaning fee of R1,500 and an admin fee of R500 with every booking.
